I do believe that safety is number one and trust me I think about it always. I spent many hours with dad on the tractor before he let me go. And I discuss safety and handling with my 5 year old every time we get the tractor out. Also I tell her that anytime she wants to go for a ride just ask. I feel that way she is less likely to do it herself, and so far it is working. If she asks I get it out and she has never attempted to do it herself. And I always keep guards and safety switches on and working and I hope everybody else does also, no matter how much a pain they are.
