I got a the hard hat with muffs and shield and chaps off e-bay some years back.
Never been sorry that I did. I wear the chaps when trimming and such. Use the hat almost everytime the saw comes out for anything major. Love the ear muffs, My dad lost all his hearing in his right ear 35 years ago and his left is showing signs of running open tractors for most of his life. My hearing is showing some signs and I want to protect it as much as I can from now on.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
