Today I was taught by my friend Rich. How to take off old generator and replace it with an alternator. How to replace the pully on it with one off old generator so belt fit good. Then how to wire it up for correct use. *S So have to replace leaking welch plug in back and change hydralic fluid. Then I am ready to paint the the main body and wheels soon. Well depending on this crazy weather here. Lots of rain and more coming tomorrow in Missouri. Also have done the carburator with rebuilt kit and gotten a new top for my air breather. New fuel lines and glass filter cleaned and new gasket in it. All sheet metal and finders are off it and most are primered and ready for paint. Fenders I still have to prepair for painting. New light switch and head lights now work. Have lights for rear but have to wait till finders are done. But do have new light switch for the rear lights and flasher to go on them also. Oh forgot this last week have new clutch and pressure plate and flywheel turned and looking real good. For got I have new steering wheel and it's nice with a fine steering knob on it. Since no power steering on tractor. I found the knob works great for me. *S I may with in the next few weeks if all goes well. Have a nice front in loader for my tractor. That is still in the making. Lots of work to clean up a nice tractor. My butt sometimes is dragging when I get in. lol Oh well!
