Good for you!!! My advise is to buy GOOD rechargeable batteries and charger. They tend to eat batteries, need to carry spares if you are going to take many pictures. Get a big card, the one that came with ours only held about 18 pictures, got a 256 in it now and will hold over 250 pictures. Nice when you go to shows, like being able to edit pictures and get rid of bad ones and take another till you get on you like. Learn how to make a copy to disc, I didn't, and a lightning strike took out computer and I lost a bunch that I wish I had back. Still haven't figured out posting multiple pictures yet, maybe someday. Thinking about buying another one for me to use outside and keep one for good. Frustrating at first, but worth it when you get it figured out. enjoy, Chris PS Here is my 400 last summer
