I was contacted by a man named rich, who was looking to buy the engine off my snapper. I called your number and it said it was disconnected, so i'll try to get you through here.
I was looking back from some receipts and realised that that briggs engine if from 1986, as i found out when i ordered a carb kit for it winter 2006-2007 to have the carb professionally rebuilt. Sorry about that, i decided to tell you this and hold on to the snapper a while longer because im not willing to stiff someone on parts from it like i got stiffed on the whole thing. However, the block may still fit. If you measure the bore on yours, let me know what it is and i will measure mine. Most other parts are good and able to be switched between a wide varity of engines, but im not sure about 16 years difference however. Glad you diddnt sent money for it, LOL.
