rhett-have built 2 of them years ago with the super M block at 281 cubes used a m&w 1/2 stroker crank, propane head the good one, electronic ignition, cut about .090 of head and did a real good head job, balanced motor, some carb work.rocket govener, and ended up with around 95 hp.that will work okay on a junk track.but if you get to a real good biting track, you will be history, they have went way beyond that today.the above combo will run every day with no problem,s if you keep good gas in it or ,back the timong down, the above combo is a drop togeather trim oil pump for counter weight clerance and trim cam for rod swing, one had a 1939 cam and the other had a after market cam, think the 1939 run,s better, the super M_TA will be at murry kentucky this week end,but will stand a chance aginst the MM,s only if the track is junk and then there are the oliver,s. the real good tractor there will be a old F-20 not mine ,but it run,s with most anything.
