Some tractors are pretty heavy. Never make it out of wood either! As for metal box for one. That would have to be some thick heavy metal to support a tractors wight. To dangerous for me to try it anyway. *S Remember that some of these floor jacks you get say from Wal Marts. Might say 2 ton on them. But in real they support mostly like a 1 1/2 ton and can and do leak off at times or tilt to side and fall.
