No problem if it wasn't a necessary commodity. You'd probably squeal if water went up 300%. The point of this post was, what is the true cost of a gallon of gas, 6 or 7 dollars a gallon. Some people say on here, "you should have invested in oil". True, but how much would you have to had invested, 100-200k, to offset the increase of all the prices. I think because of how much everything has went up, you're invested at a loss.
