The issues here are that it's not good for cougars to be in Chicago nor is it good for the people of Chicago for cougars to be in Chicago. It ended the way it had to end for the cougar.
Now--all the people who say either the cougar shouldn't have been shot 18 times and/or that it didn't need to be shot at all would be the first ones to raise a hue and cry if the cougar had attacked or injured people. Period!
