If any of ya remeber my posting the other week about worrying about volunteer RR corn coming up in the feild I plan on putting corn( because last years crop was disc down), Some one had mentioned I should replant RR corn, and cultivate. Well, I guess I could do that, hopefully we have sufficient moisture. Does any one see any problems doing it this way. I had all the seed bought, Liberty seem like seed is getting short supply and is pretty pricey. I hate to do it, but if I plowed the entire feild under would it place the old corn deep enough that it would not grow? Finally, with the price of corn topping $6, and reports that it may soar to $10, does any one think that people may just decide to reverse the trend and bite the inputs and make a surprise turnaround on the number of corn acres planted this year?
