I don't know how you checked compression on gas or diesel side. You can tell if the starting valves are leaking in the cylinders by cranking engine on diesel side with gauge in spark plug holes. If no starting valve leakage there won't be compression. Another sujestion is to remove the injectors one at a time and turn injection line to install injector outside head with bucket under it and check spray compared to a cylinder not missing. You may also be able to get a idea if its a injection pump problem by cracking bleaders at injectors while running. Also if its 2 cylinders on front or rear check for proper operation of butterflies in intake manifold. Also the running valves could leak or cam and valve opening parts problem, low compression from rings cylinder wear, bad head gasket. To check compression on diesel side requires doing it at the injector holes. Sorry for stating that if you already did this.
