Ok got a question for all you veterans of lawn mower field service.
My phone has hardly stopped ringing with calls for me to come service people's lawn mowers. I love doing and who wouldnt mind the extra $. Now here is the problem, most of these people I can't say, " Ok whats the make model & serial number?" they just dont know the lingo or where to look and would think I was trying to steal there credit or something. So how would you go about knowing what filters,plugs, plug gaps etc. to get ?? I was thinking maybe just make a TSC run and stock up on a few different sizes of each, kinda like my grandpa's plumbing truck had every fitting you could ever think of.
