Neither transmission pull starts. The PS has to have hydraulic pressure to operate the clutches, but it pulled not in the tow position the lack of lubrication oil from the hydraulic pump will destroy parts.
The SR transmission doesn't need oil to operate except for lubrication and it doesn't take much towing to sieze the gears to the top shaft that is only lubricated by oil from the pump that turns when the engine is running.
Far better to fix the starter and batteries and start it normally. Can save several thousand bucks of transmission repair.
