The in the ground cost now for planting is at the point that the corn, bean prices will not make much difference at tax time next year over the 2007 taxes. The increse for the big picture will nill. That cash rent is getting tricky.

The last fling before summer fades into fall and we get busy in the fields are the annual Labor Day tractor shows. Beginning on September 5th and running through the 7th, the Argyle Antique Gas and Engine Show is held at the Argyle State Park.
