If you have a kid that has to be in day care for you to work, you make minumum wage, you live very far from work, you spend alot of time setting in traffic, you drive an old clunker getting 10 MPG, etc etc I can see it happening. Any one thing might not be a cause but think how many people out there are faced with several of those problems at the same time...and don't tell me there aren't people out there like that. Given that scenerio it could very well be in someones best interest to quit and stay home. Think about it there are alot of people out there that have never worked and are sponging off the system and living pretty good. If your working your tail off and not getting anywhere, why not quit and do a little sponging yourself.....Not my mentality, I've got more work to do than I can handle and get paid good money for what I do, but I can see where it would be a viable option for some people given the current state of our governments handouts.
