I'm back! You all have been kind enough to advise me on first tractor models that would suite my needs. You pointed me to an Oliver Super 55/550 or MF 35/135. I just ran across an IH 350 utility not too far away. Told it has 46 hp, live pto & hyd. Same price category as what I've been seeing for the others. Any thoughts about whether this is a worthy competitor? Any strong or weak points vs. the other models you've suggested? Is the IH 350 stout enough in the front to handle a small front end loader (which I would have to add)? Are loaders for this available for a reasonable price? Again, many thanks for your help.
