Don't have any hands on experience yet but there is a group of us growers here in Michigan that a group of extension agents signed us up to be in a grant program to start growing some test acres on our farms, some were going to graze and some for hay. So far we still don't know if the money will come through. They planted some up at the University last summer as late as June and it produced over 5 tons per acre.
