Hi folks,
I know there are variables, but what can you expect from wheat and/or barley? We have moderate temps and plenty of moisture. Fields are on high ground (no bottom land). I guess the high grain prices are really working on folks' greed hormone.
I've been renting 3 pieces of pasture (total about an acre and a half) and he has decided to plow it up and plant it. Can't see that he'd make more than I'm paying him for rent, especially with the work involved. Appreciate it if someone can give me a couple of numbers.
