I agree with BJ. I live only about 2 hours west of Mt. Pleasant. There is a lot of older tractors, and steam engines. A whole area full of small engines and much more. There are plenty of vendors set up around the grounds, and there is a village type thing that is south of the ground that you can reach by train. Also, the square up town is packed full of all kinds of goodies. Last year was my first time that I made it to the square and was really shocked with everything up there. I have never been over there on Thursday or Friday, but Saturday and Sunday are both good days to attend most exhibits still in place. Monday after the noon parade things start to clear out pretty good usually, and then everything wraps up after the invitational horse pull that packs the grandstands. Overall a great show. Just my 2 cents worth. -Dan
