LA 200 works pretty good for cattle that are in the early stages of pinkeye. If the eye is fully inflamed "pink with white iris" LA200 is less efective. For advanced stage pinkeye you should have a vet treat it. They often stich the eye shut to protect it and allow it to heal. To prevent pinleye I vaccinate all my calves and bulls with Piligaurd pinkeye triveiw. It works well in preventing pinkeye and lessens the severity if they get it. It should be given several weeks before pinkeye season. It will not help if the cattle already have pinkeye.
