The first is a walleye, the other is a smallmouth. We only missed catching a trout for a Tygart River Grand Slam. Woulda had better luck if those darn smallmouth hadn"t bit my worm everytime I dangled it out there. I must have caught 5 of "em. The fella holding the walleye later caught a smallmouth that would have made the books, but I managed to drop the monster. He is still a little ticked about that. Largemouth are not native to this stream but only introduced after a flood in the mid eighties washed "em out of the farm ponds.
