As a tire guy, I would never put it in a car or truck tire- moves around and impacts balancing, you'll definitely fell it. The only good way to fix a car or truck tire is an internal patch/plug. That being said, I always run the green slime in lawn tractor and wheelbarrow tires that are prone to busting the beads when they lose air. The white Fix-a-flat junk NEVER seems to work, and makes a damn mess out of the inside of a tire that makes repair really tough. Most of the tubes I see leaking are from rim abrasion or valve hole abrasion- I always wrap the drop center of the wheel in duck tape and file the stem hole with a rat tail to clean it up before mounting tube types
