Lanse you REALLY need a shop manual for that tractor before you reassemble anything. Where are you getting your torque specs? There are so many small details that you willl never catch them all untill its too late. Then you will destroy that motor and have wasted all this time and money... That being said and knowing you will just go ahead and work on it., there are timing marks on the face of each oh the timing gears. ALL of those marks must be aligned with its corresponding gear and mark. (manual has a great picture) The pressure plate only goes on one way. Do you mean the clutch disc? the center of the splined hub that is longer goes out (towards the rear of the tractor) Did you torque the flywheel bolts? Did you install the packing in the end of the crankshaft? These WILL come back and bite you unless they are done. I wish you good luck and do not mean to sound like I am running you down , Just don't want you to be REALLY disapointed when you have to do it over when it wont start, knocks or leaks or etc...
