Just pound it out from the bottom with what ever you can get to set on the (edge of the sleeve). I set the block upside down on blocks and drive them out with a steel bar. A block of wood will work also after they are loose. You will find the O rings flat and hard. They were soft and round when installed. It is a heat and time thing that makes them hard and take set. The pistons on this engine is only suppose to be removed out the top. If you have not removed the ridge at the top of th esleeve you could have broke a ring going in. That could have caused the piston to bind up.
