my grandad used to have a homemade paddle or bee swatter if you will.kind of looked like a boat oar but wider paddle with holes drilled in it. he would spend a whole day at the tool shed ,stable,or tobacco barn he kept them under control pretty good. wish he was here to thin em out now they are pretty thick

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
