Allan I had one like that on a sawmill a few years ago. Had to replace a bearing and busted the pulley trying to get it off. After I broke it...what the heck, just got the sawsall out and made a deep cut in the hub part not cutting all the way to the shaft. When it was close to the shaft, I used a cold chisel to open the slot and it came right off. Could see no other way to get it off. Just my 2 cents....
