Yeah I know what you mean, it's kinda like some of these post that are critical of people who correct someone's spelling or grammar. I kinda find them humorous. For example not too far down the page someone spoke critical of Christians. They used the wrong word. Someone jumped on them and corrected them. They used the wrong word. Someone jumped them and told them in so many words if you are going to correct someone be sure to be right yourself. Then someone like yourself comes along later and slams the people who are slamming the people who make mistakes. Then someone like me comes along and says I am tired of all these OT post that are not in keeping with the spirit for which this board has been set up. Then someone else will come along and say this is a free country and I have the right to speak my mind and nothing is off topic blah blah blah. Have any of you noticed that true tractor related post that have misspelling very seldom if ever get jumped on because of misspelled words? Just my opinion based on my observations, with which you may or may not agree. The moral of the story is up to you to figure out for yourself.
