Its 1974 and I had a brand new Plymouth, hit a deer, ker bang. Put deer in trunk headed home. Dressed out deer and put it in the freezer (Sept). NY DEC cop came by while I was working on the farm and said I heard you hit a deer. Yup, its in the freezer, want to see it. Took him inside and showed him all the white packages. He said you can't do that!! Do what I said. He said put deer meat in the freezer. I said there it is, I sure can; he said you can't.
I said well there it is. I told me I can't, it is done, you want it? He said "you trying to bribe me?" Me, I don't particularly care for venison, but I am going to eat the 3rd rat with antlers that walked in front of my 9 week old car.
We left the house and he went to nosin around my car. He came back to me and said your story checked out, I found some brown hair under the chrome strip at the front.
I said what about the grass in the suspension as I chased the deer across two fields!! Now get off the farm you wore out your welcome.
