I am about half a step away into convincing my grandpa to give me his Oliver 77 diesel, that spun a rod bearing about 20 years ago. He hasn't used it since then, and has been sitting in the back of his shead with some parts taken off of it. I know its missing the grill, radiator, gas tank, side sheet metal, and other smaller parts. The crankshaft will have to be reground along with new bearings. It has two way hydraulics, and the rear tires are 16.9x38's which have minor weather checking, with good tread left yet, and two sets of wheel weights. With all of this added up, and other small things, what do you think the final bill would be around? I would do everything that I could do myself, including the paint job. I would say it will cost about $2500-$3000. So, does anyone know where I can get any of these parts, or know someone who has a 77 diesel that is stuck or for parts that I could buy? Thanks
