One of the things I have noticed about fuel prices is that when fuel does go down a few cents a gallon, I stop and fill my tanks full. Probably everyone else does the same thing. Think about how many millions of gallons of fuel we are hauling around in our trucks. What would happen if we just bought enough fuel to get through the week. There would be millions of gallons of fuel back at the distributor and when there is plenty of fuel, the price seems to go down.
