That's about the time the next models come out with the new features and the resale starts to dip more. They do hold their value well though. I only have the one smaller tractor and skid loader in my business and they must work all day every day and I guess having one with fewer hours lets me sleep better knowing it will work for me tomorrow. I have mowers I let get to 5,000 plus hours, but I have back ups in case they go down. I've got a 52" walk behind with a 12.5hp Kawaski that's never been apart and has 8,000+ hours on it! I can't believe it, but it keeps chugging. Anyway, Kubota is a good tractor and I've put at least 7,000 hours on the ones we've had and been very happy. Gone from a little 19hp glorified garden tractor in the early nineties to this 5740 HST. Oh yeah, like the other fella said, I've never changed a battery also.
