For those of you here on this forum, James Wendell Howell is fourth from the left, standing. You will note the ammo belt. As the bombardier, he was charged with the responsibility of safeguarding the Norden bomb sight and was required to wear a side arm. He passed from this world March 18, 2007 and is sorely missed.
While we remember those who gave their lives, let us not forget those who are now serving. James and I shake the hand of every military person we see and tell them thank you. This is still a great nation and a lot of that is due to the sacrifices our military personnel make to keep us safe and free.
May we never forget those that have gone before, the ones now serving, and those who are yet to come. Thanks to all of them.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
