Let it sit for a day and crack the drain plug on the oil pan. Turn it out a few turns and water will come out before oil will. If the water is green bad news if its clear change the oil and run it. The german diesels are knowen for the sleeve orings to break down and leak. You have to tear down the engine to replace them. If its a Farmall row crop 544 they are quite rare with the diesel engine. I'd snap it up even if it needs an overhaul, very handy tractor.
