I just gotta ask....in 73 you were 10- just how bad did you see it? Or did you hear about it from your folks? 73-76 were the golden years for me- high school! Fast cars, fast girls, slow gas lines- but we never thought we were in the middle of a disaster. I graduated from college in 81 and went to work in 82- other than only making 14k a year I don't remember any real hardships. Home values were SOARING in 82- I made 30K on my first condo purchase between 82 and 83- and on my 14K salary. I was born in 58, will be 50 this year, and this is absolutely the worst I have ever seen the economy. It's the poorest I have ever seen work ethic, and it's the poorest I have ever seen personal accountability. We are in $h!t $hape....
