Interesting question: 1976 bearing catalog engine ID index shows 55 gas and dsl and 55 Super gas and dsl, and same with 66, 77, 88...1993 bearing catalog has same listings (55 Series, 55 Super, 66 Series, 66 Super Series, etc).. 1970 belt catalog has dropped the "55" from the belt section, has the rest, but includes several 55's in the thermostat section, with the rest... 2000/2006 filter catalogs only list Supers (Super 55, Super 66 etc)...
