The reason I ask is that I own a oliver 55. Painted on the hood (which is long woren off) was Oliver and the numbers 55 not 550 or super 55. I still have the tractor. It is wearing out in places and I need parts for it. I recently replaced the radiator on it. I ask the used parts dealer if a super 55 would work on it. He said no but he had a tractor he could get a radiator off of. He said he would test it and if no leaks send it to me. It fit fine was exactly like the original except didn't leak but I'm wondering if he wasn't taking me for a ride. Now I need the steering parts. If a super 55 will fit I'll just find one but don't want to pay money for something that isn't going to work.
