For mowing, ,moving dirt, pushing snow, and landscaping chores, it sounds like you want something around 25 HP. One good small tractor that I know of in this category is a John Deere 955 or 855. The 855 is about 24 HP and the 955 is about 27HP. Either of these will handle a 72" mid mount mower deck and they can be equipped with a detachable front-mount loader. They will also have rear hookups for a blade (to push snow), a garden tiller, or snowblower. These small tractors are also available and usually do come with MFWD (Mechanical Front Wheel Drive) In other words Four Wheel Drive. (Like your SUV) They are hydrostatically driven, so all you have to do is push down on a pedal to go forwards or backwards. They can be a bit pricey, but it depends on what you think is resonable. These are an outdated series and I think they were made from about 1987 untill 1998. They are very reliable tractors and will last a LONG time with basic maintanence. Deere has dealers all over the place, so parts and service are not a problem. You can probably find a low hour machine ( About 100-200 hours) in the 855 model for around $10000 and the 955 for around 11 or 12000. This is without any attachments. There are many other good manufacturers out there such as Kubota, New Holland, and Case IH, but experience for me is with Deere. I know you would be satisfied and they are very 'user friendly'. If you have a lot of mowing and chores for this tractor, make sure you buy something that is reliable.
