All this complaining when fuel goes up to 1/2 the price the rest of the world pays?
Where was all the complaining or rejoicing when the price of LCD watches, CD's, DVD's, VCR's. microwaves, TV's, computers, tools etc came down?
Food is still a bargain at the store and there is lots of it. It still seems cheap enough for people to drive to restaurants for a meal. There's extra fuel costs and inflated food s costs for you where rich people are stealing you money. Paying $2.00+ for a cup of coffee you could brew at home for 10 cents.
The price of fuel isn't bothering people who can't waddle their lard butts to the restaurant. They idle the engine and ride the brakes for several minutes in the drive through more than once daily.
Even vehicles comparing what I paid for 21 years ago compared to now. The price hasn't went up and the modern cars have anti-lock, airbags etc.
Most people are broke because they are paying interest. The economy would be fine if people saved and paid for their purchases. Using borrowed money only weakens/de-values the dollar. Thus making inflation raise prices.
Want to see price gouging and markup yet not here people complain. Compare farm price for food to grocery store or restaurant prices. Nobody is forcing you to go into that restaurant. Compare the markup on food to the markup on crude oil to the gas pump. Take away the government taxes and the margin is very narrow.
Crooks? Maybe you are a crook because you would like to make a fat profit hauling truck loads of product? You are in business to make as much $$$ as possible, are you not?
