Actually if you think about it the wagon box and its frame is also holding the running gear together also. Brent boxes and frames are beefed up pretty well also. There has to be some play. But I also see that it does not look very straight. Ask a dealer or if any one else here knows more. Better yet find another brent wagon to compare your wagon to.
