I've got wiring diagrams, but not handy at the moment. One thing I thought I'd mention is if you are using a GM alternator (2wire) make sure you use a 194 sidemarker bulb in your idiot light. It has just the right resisitance (atleast for the wiring set up I use) and if you don't it's a pain to get working. Test your alternator by touching the round casting on the back of it with a metal object (carefully as not to hit any wires). If you are charging, the metal object will stick when the alternator is excited.
