I have had a lot of problems with aftermarket hub and bearing assy's,,, your call you are the one saving the money and warranting your work,,, I have had to go back and replace rite many,,, most they were replaced at another shop that could not figger out why the wheel had a noise,, its no fun working for nuttin and then having to get the customer to fess up the extra cost for a OEM assy,,, it mite B the aftermarket has fixed their problem,,, dunno,,, the problem was for some reason the wheel would knock cuzz it did not tighten up to the outer haft shaft,,, the problem vehicles for me have been,,, Buick, Olds, Pontiac, chevy cars and mini vans,,, a GM thang,,, I did git a TSB that some SUV/pick ups GM aftermarket bearings were manufactured wrong and wheels could fall off,,, enny one who has replaced with aftermarket their late 90's or early 2000 hub and bearing assy's with mite check with their parts suppliers about the TSB,,, The TSB I got in the mail came from Advance Auto,,, said their records had shown i had brought some of the defective units,,, I could not find in my records were I had,,, mite B I already had problems and replaced with OEM,,, No I don't like pay'n the extra bucks for a OEM,,, I do like to play safe,,, your call

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
