Front mount snowblower

I would like to mount my two stage snowblower from the rear of my 600 Ford to the front and power it with the PTO using a solid drive shaft. I live in the Great Lakes snow belt zone and would like to improve on my existing system. The reverse in my Ford Tractor is too fast and it causes the blower to plug up so I end up using my old V-Blower which has a few problems too! Has any one tried this approach , if so please contact me. Thanks Ray
