Yup, you've been violated and can't do much about it. The law even prevents you from shooting if you catch them.
I have been mugged in a shopping center parking lot, my house was broken into and they took the wifes jewelry, the TV, the stereo, the coffee pot, and my guns. My truck was broken into in the driveway and they took the radio and my laptop but I can't do anything about it. My wife was mugged and the perp dropped some personal I.D. so after about four months they caught the black fatherless son. He got a slap on the wrist (fine and probation) and was set free and told not to do it again. Some country we live in where we can't take action to protect ourselves.
