Drove over and looked at your field this afternoon. Yup, it sure looks purple. Field on west side of road looks pretty good, if a little spotty, - like a lot of other fields I have seen the last few days. But yours looks stressed, kinda puny! And purple for sure. Would assume not a moisture problem, as other fields look good. What was planted in that field last year? Any chemicals used last year? Have you considered running some soil test to see if it is a potassium deficiency? I don"t have any answers, but lots of questions! Definitely PURPLE! (Field by stone house looks a little stressed, but not bad.)
