have had them were a sleve comwes loose and goes into the oil pan and they make a real ratly noise and compresion goes away in that cylinder,it,s not uncomon to have that if the new sleves are not fited right,even with the sleve in the pan in a million pices they will still run. run a compresion test.those motors came with 2 diffrent wall thikness on the sleves.
