Since you clicked on this, you must have some sort of knowledge or information regarding Farmhand loaders so please read through this and reply if you know anything. I have a John Deere 420U with a Farmhand loader on it which was given to me by my grandfather about 2 or 3 years ago when they "moved into town". He did'nt think the rig was worth a whole lot and did'nt want it to go anywhere because it was so valuable over the years. So you can understand with that brief story that this is extremeley important to me. So this is where I have started my search for info. I am going to work on this as soon as the weather allows and getting things lined out for the 420 is a piece of cake, the loader is'nt. This is what I can tell you about the loader. It is a self contained hydraulic unit with a hydraulic bucket. You can interchange bucket fittings in seconds. (Forks to Scoop) The serial plate says this: Model-F 12 3 A Name-131. Now here's the questions: 1. What color(s) should it be, or what colors could it possibly have been painted. I know originally it was red, but I want to keep it an original Farmhand color if possible. 2. Did they have any decals on the side or front with model #'s or such? If so, where? Can they still be purchased? 3. Does anyone have an owners manual they would be willing to sell for this? I know that Farmhand is now owned by AGCO, but have'nt inquired a dealer for such information. This is important to me to get all the little details straight. If anyone knows anything or would happen to have a picture or manual, please let me know with a reply or an e-mail. Thanks a lot! Doug P.S. I am located in east central Ill. if you care.

The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
