Long did manufacture tractors in the USA in the late 40's and early 50's. They used a Timken rearend, a Contenal engine, and looked alot like a farmal H from a distance. The first ones were built in Oct. 1948 and around 300-600 were built of which 24 are still known. They were red with green wheels. The Long model A was tested in Neb. serial # 275 was used for the test.
