Lanse, Is this the B-C Allis ? If it is # 1 crank is reground to correct undersize.#2 Correct undersize bearings . # 3 you will need a new .009 shim pack to start with.That is a lamenated (3ea. .002)(1ea. .003)pack .009 on each side of rod. Torque to 35-40 ft pds. Rod caps need to be on correctly. The same type of pack is need for the mains.If you can't find the shim pack. email me & will try & find them for you.I have done engine rebuilding for 40 plus years. We all had this problem when we started out. If you email me I will give you my ph. number & when you can call & I will walk you through this.I can call you if you if this would work.
