Looks like that last set of photos contained bales of unrained on hay, the darnedest thing, you are in dry land and yet rain still gets to the hay, I'll bet those critters will enjoy that green stuff with a thatch roof next winter !
Every field I worked in last year, + can't count how many others, even most of the dairy farmers hay fields, most are not cut yet, tops are brown with seed, would still be decent if you could get it in, the weather is just back to it's old tricks again, maybe you'll get 3 days dry, most likely not, humid air from the south is just not letting up, last year was a year to remember and make hay. You can also see where that dry spell in april stunted fields on hills that are well drained, the yield is 1/2 of what it usually is.
