Hello, sounds like your oil pressure light. if you turn on the key and the light comes on then find the oil pressure sending unit on the Engine block un plug the wire if the light goes out then i would remove the sending unit and put a oil pressure gauge in it should be 1/8 npt any gauge will work if you have the room you can screw it directly into the block. i don't know what model tractor you have but general rule is you should have around 10 psi at idle and 20 or more at full rpm. if you have the pressure then replace the sending unit. if you don't have good oil pressure the you need to get the engine repaired or rebuilt. I would strongly recomend not running the tractor too much untill you get this checked out. low or no oil pressure can cause big problems. Good Luck Ed
